This year, Avanse Ansanm is Celebrating 5 Years of Community Building & Collective Impact! Since our inception, Avanse Ansanm has emerged as a critical node in South Florida’s Haitian Community cultivating courageous community spaces to preserve culture, embrace and activate the Haitian community’s freedom-fighting legacy, and build economic and political power in South Florida’s Haitian Community.
We would like to cordially invite you to our third annual summit. This year’s summit is a celebration of our achievements and a continuation of our commitment to community growth, progress, and expansion.
The Summit will be held on November 19, 2022 from 9:00am- 2:00pm. Our conference theme, Nou La Pi Red, will include dynamic breakout sessions exploring, many timely issues including the State of the Haitian Nation, Haitian selfhood, well-being and advocacy, gender & sexuality, and investments & tech opportunities, along with celebrations of our culture’s art, music, native foods and traditional games.
